Hospice South is one of the most trusted and essential organisations in the region, supporting individuals and families through some of life’s most vulnerable moments. Their work extends far beyond clinical care. It is deeply human, community led and grounded in dignity and compassion.
As demand continues to grow and expectations around communication, fundraising and engagement increase, Hospice South needed a clear and unified voice. One that reflected the depth of their impact, honoured their people and connected meaningfully with the community that supports them.
The Brief
Hospice South required full spectrum marketing, communications and event support to strengthen their visibility, engagement and long term sustainability. The brief was to tidy and refine their entire communications approach, clarify their brand and messaging, and create a more intentional engagement strategy that would support fundraising, advocacy and community connection.
This work needed to balance sensitivity and strength. It had to communicate the reality of Hospice care with honesty and respect, while empowering the organisation to speak confidently, consistently and proudly about the impact they deliver every day.
Our Work
We act as Hospice South’s full marketing and communications partner, delivering all levels of support across strategy, storytelling, campaigns and events. Our work includes refining their brand and tone, developing a clear communications and engagement framework, supporting fundraising initiatives, managing event communications and amplifying their voice through media and community channels.
More recently, we have led a comprehensive tidy up of Hospice South’s communications ecosystem. This involved streamlining messaging, strengthening consistency across touchpoints and creating a clearer structure to support confident and effective communication moving forward.
Our work has helped elevate Hospice Southland’s presence in the community, ensuring their purpose and impact are visible, understood and respected. This is not just marketing. It is long term support for an organisation that sits at the heart of the Southland community, ensuring they are supported and sustained well into the future.
