Real still works! Why Being a Human Is Becoming More Valuable.
We've been thinking about this a bit lately.
AI is everywhere. It writes, organises, measures, compares and, increasingly, designs. We use it. Most of us do. It's a useful tool, and we can't imagine many businesses choosing to ignore it.
What we are noticing, though, is that as more people use the same tools, we're starting to see the same patterns emerge. The same style of writing. The same layouts. The same visual cues. The same language appearing over and over again.
No judgement here. It's simply the nature of technology. When a tool becomes widely available, people naturally gravitate towards similar outputs. What interests me more is what happens next.
Platforms will change. Algorithms will change. AI is changing… The tools we're all talking about today will be replaced by something newer and faster before we know it. That's always been the way with technology.
What always sticks around is having authenticity and being real (hence the unedited between-the-shots photo attached 😊)
Why is real so hot… Not because it's trendy, but because people are still people. We still trust people. We still enjoy hearing a genuine story. We still want to know who's behind a business, what they stand for and why they do what they do.
The businesses that seem to create lasting connections aren't necessarily the loudest or the most polished. They're often the ones willing to sound like themselves. The ones prepared to share their perspective, celebrate their people and have real conversations with their communities.
The irony is that authenticity shouldn't be difficult. It shouldn't require a strategy document or a workshop. It should simply be an honest reflection of who you are and what matters to you.
Use AI. Absolutely use it! Mad not to. It saves time, improves productivity and helps get ideas moving. Just don't hand over your voice in the process.
Because while technology will continue to evolve at an incredible pace, genuine connection remains one of the few things that can't be automated.
